Create customer loyalty and increase sales by offering advanced shopper conveniences and management functions. Fast checkout, shopper registration, customer profiling, customer categories, customer specific discounts and more.

Customer and shopper information can be placed and stored in your Customer Manager account two different ways. The first is through a direct import from an existing database and the second is an easy online registration process opted in by shoppers. Once this customer data is in Customer Manager, shoppers as well as your business can take advantage of a number of service-oriented conveniences and marketing techniques.

Q: What can I do with Customer Manager?

A: Customer Manager enables you to add and edit registered customers, delete registered customers, and import lists of customers. Individual customers can also register themselves from within your store.

Once a customer is registered you can assign them to a customer category. Customer Manager allows you to track customer sales and to offer discounts and coupons to different customer categories.

Registered customers can easily check the status of their orders after they log in.

  • To add a new customer, click Add Customer.
  • To delete multiple customers, select the Delete Customers button.
  • To import customers from a customer data file, click Import Customers.
  • Display a limited list of customers with Search. Enter some search criteria, then click Search to present a list of matching customers. When searching a blank field matches all entries. Use an asterisk (*) for a wildcard within search strings. You can match on any number of fields when searching.
  • Export all current customers with Export Customers.
  • Edit an existing customer with its Edit button.
  • Delete a single existing customer with its Delete button.
Q: What is a "Customer Category"?

A: Customer categories are used to offer varying discounts to different groups of customers.

For example: If you have customers who buy products at wholesale prices, you could create an account for them and assign it to a specific customer category offering a special discount on the entire store (discounts are applied automatically upon log in). With some extra code, you could display the original price crossed out with the discounted price next to it. This all happens automatically once the user logs in.

Customer categories can be applied to individual customers as well. If you have a customer who buys frequently you could put him in a special category of his own offering a special discount.

Coupons can also be assigned to a specific customer category if you only wish to offer specific discount for one product to a certain amount of people.
